Silage additive applicator Spreader 4000 CAN

The Spreader 4000 CAN combines the Spreader 4000 applicator with the next-generation Spreader CAN controller. The result is a highly precise dosing system designed for low flow rates up to 6 l/min, making it an ideal choice for balers and other lower-capacity harvesting machines.

If harvest data is not available, dosing can be automatically controlled based on the harvesting machine’s speed in litres per kilometre. This requires a separately sold speed cable. Alternatively, dosing can be set conventionally by adjusting the desired application rate in litres per minute.

With a pumping range of 1–6 l/min, the Spreader 4000 CAN is optimized for low application rates. Spreader applicators are designed with a strong focus on ease of use and serviceability. Electrical cables and hoses are equipped with quick-connect couplings, allowing fast disconnection for winter storage or maintenance.

The pump can be switched on and off via a limit switch (e.g. attached to the pick-up) or by using signal data from the harvesting machine. A control relay is required when using the machine’s signal data.
