The Spreader 30 CAN is a high-capacity applicator designed particularly for forage harvesters and other heavy-duty harvesting machines, offering a pumping capacity of up to 30 l/min.
The next-generation Spreader CAN controller enables automatic dosing based on actual harvest data via the CAN bus or speed-based dosing in litres per kilometre. Harvest data–based dosing in litres per tonne of forage is currently available only in forage harvester applications.

The Spreader 30 CAN combines the powerful Spreader 30 diaphragm pump applicator with the next-generation Spreader CAN controller. The result is a highly accurate and automated dosing system designed for high-capacity forage harvesting and professional contracting use.
The Spreader CAN controller enables fully automatic dosing based on actual harvest data via the harvesting machine’s CAN bus. When connected to the harvester, the desired dosage can be set in litres per tonne of forage, and the system automatically adjusts dosing according to real-time throughput.
CAN connectivity is available for Claas, John Deere and New Holland forage harvesters and requires a compatible wiring harness.
If harvest data is not available, dosing can be automatically controlled based on the harvesting machine’s speed in litres per kilometre using a separately sold speed cable. Alternatively, dosing can be set conventionally in litres per minute.
The Spreader 30 pump unit is part of the Happowa Spreader product family and provides a pumping range of 2–30 l/min, enabling reliable operation even at very high application rates. Quick-connect couplings are not used in this pump model, allowing higher flow capacity and robust operation.
The pump can be switched on and off via a limit switch (e.g. attached to the pick-up) or by using signal data from the harvesting machine. A control relay is required when using the machine’s signal data.
