The Spreader 15 CAN is a diaphragm pump applicator designed particularly for larger silage loader wagons and smaller forage harvesters, with a maximum output of 15 l/min.
The next-generation Spreader CAN controller enables automatic dosing based on actual harvest data via the CAN bus or speed-based dosing in litres per kilometre. Harvest data–based dosing in litres per tonne of forage is currently available only in forage harvester applications.

The Spreader 15 CAN combines the Spreader 15 additive pump unit with the next-generation Spreader CAN controller, providing a highly accurate and efficient solution for applying silage additives. The system is particularly suitable for small and medium-sized forage harvesters and high-capacity silage loader wagons.
The Spreader CAN controller enables fully automatic dosing based on actual harvest data via the harvesting machine’s CAN bus. When connected to the harvester, the desired dosage can be set in litres per tonne of forage, and the system automatically adjusts dosing according to real-time throughput.
CAN connectivity is available for Claas, John Deere and New Holland forage harvesters and requires a compatible wiring harness.
If harvest data is not available, dosing can be automatically controlled based on the harvesting machine’s speed in litres per kilometre using a separately sold speed cable. Alternatively, dosing can be set conventionally in litres per minute.
The Spreader 15 pump unit is part of the Happowa Spreader product family. Its operating range of 2–15 l/min makes it suitable for medium-capacity harvesting machines. The system does not use quick-connect couplings in the pump connections, allowing higher flow capacity and ensuring durable, reliable operation.
The pump can be switched on and off via a limit switch (e.g. attached to the pick-up) or by using signal data from the harvesting machine. A control relay is required when using the machine’s signal data.
